I’m never been one to shy away from short shorts or dresses, so this recent find was something I’ve been looking for forever.I’ve been on a mission to find the classic shirt dress and voilá I find this black lil number. I’m still on the lookout for a great white shirt dress though (you can wear it so many different ways) so it’s anyone finds one please free to drop me a mail, just putting it out there.

I’ve also been trying not to spend 90% of my income on clothing & shoes..so I’ve been TRYING to stay away from the malls, (not an easy feet for a fashion blogger) a shopping diet if you will. But I was lucky enough to be invited to a really cool new spot where you can buy brands like Gap & a Banana republic for 80% off the original price, this is not a scam it’s all authentic (and fabulous). This being amazing news I found this over-sized blouse and decided to wear it as a shirt dress. It’s quite versatile though so you may see it again in future posts. Another total bargain buy this weekend, while I was shopping for my niece (which mind you is a whole new world in itself) I came across these perfectly perfect pair of heels, they’re chic and comfortable for days.

So the motto of the day: it’s good to go on a budget but it’s also good to find budget buys.
