So I recently went to a trunk show for Vintage Zionist, it was a gloomy wet day in Jozi which is completely abnormal weather for us which messes with my mood however I did manage to get myself out of bed and to the trunk show because I hate saying no to anyone (sometimes to my own detriment) but this time I was the lucky one. The weather didn’t even bother me when I saw the clothing, it’s what I had been looking for, things that are unique and hard to find in chain stores.

I must say I really wanted this gorgeous leather jacket, light-weight and a cut good but unfortunately I’ve got larger breasts (something I try to hide) and I struggle to find clothing that suits my body. I knew that wouldn’t work so I set my sights on these amazing leather dungarees, with a suede lining they’re comfortable and cool. I love wearing the, you can mix and match it with anything, I wouldn’t normally buy a dungarees but I couldn’t say no to these.

It’s been rather warm in Jozi and I wore them with some sliders and a vest for a casual, hang-by-the-pool kinda look.

My photographer is overseas so I’ve appointed my dad to do the dirty work, let’s just say his a way better dad than a photographer! But I love him all the same, thanks dad even though I got frustrated with your lack of vision…
