If you’re a true Jozi resident you’ve been in the city over December and there are only two feelings about it. 1) It bores you to tears and you deactivate your social media as not to hate everyone who has trekked to the coast or 2) You love it! No queues, no reservations, no crazy holiday spending.Read More
Everybody loves casual day, I remember planning my outfit a week when I was in school if we had causal day better known as ‘civvies day’ in South Africa, no uniforms always made me happy. Dressing casually allows you to be expressive, being an individual & standing out was always my objective, being the youngest out of my siblings I guess that came with the territory? Teaming high-end pieces with low-end is always fabulous, think furs & sneakers.
I’m not usually a lover of hats because I feel stupid when I wear one but I couldn’t resist this one I love the colour & fit…my heads a bit on the larger size so the wider brim works better on me. I teamed it with a simple oversized white tee & jeans, letting the accessories speak for themselves.

I’m not going to lie, I definitely have some form of obsessiveness (if that’s even a word). Every new song that comes out that I love I will not stop playing it until I’m completely sick of it. I do the same thing with clothing I will find a way to wear it at every occasion, it will become my ‘uniform’ for lack of a better word. That’s what’s happened with this jersey from Mr. Price, I’ve been wearing it with everything from jeans to tights & shorts.
It’s become quite chilly in Johannesburg over the past week & this jersey keeps me warm & cosy, it’s pretty, feminine & well-priced. It’s seemingly daywear but I wore this outfit for dinner with my parents at the 3 Sixty restaurant side note their desserts are delicious! This outfit is fun & playful but still appropriate for dinner.

As promised, I would blog about how I’m incorporating the pastel trend into my wardrobe. My style is quite edgy and therefore you won’t easily catch rocking the all-pink trend but I do love the trend and have bought a few key pieces. This dusty pink jersey from Mr. price is a comfortable, warm but versatile & trendy piece. I love how I can layer it with a denim shirt, plain tee or coat. I teamed it with these ripped jeans (clearly my new obsession don’t judge me) a plain linen tee and red hot heels and for the critics yes red & pink can be worn together in moderation. This outfit is perfect for the unpredictable weather we have been having you can whip the jersey off if the sun comes out.
