So I recently went to a trunk show for Vintage Zionist, it was a gloomy wet day in Jozi which is completely abnormal weather for us which messes with my mood however I did manage to get myself out of bed and to the trunk show because I hate saying no to anyone (sometimes to my own detriment) but this time I was the lucky one. The weather didn’t even bother me when I saw the clothing, it’s what I had been looking for, things that are unique and hard to find in chain stores.Read More

Are you going to adopt this trend? Wait, before you answer forget the all those dreaded 90’s memories that Carrie Bradshaw and Monica from our fav 90’s sitcoms wore. Okay! Now? You feel better about it? Well I have a few good reasons to try and persuade you that these aren’t the worst thing to hit the fashion world. I look forward to their discomfort and the click-clack sound that they will indubitably make when I walk, well sort of. I anticipate wearing them with denim cut offs this summer and with white skinny pants and also maybe with dresses or maybe not I’m more of a ‘obnoxiously short skirt kinda girl’.
Either way I’ve got myself a really nice white leather pair, hoping to grow my collection as summer rolls around…
Here’s a few ways to rock this look effortlessly, either pretty summer frocks while you sip on margaritas on the bay or a cool, casual Saturday afternoon outfit to Neighbourgoods. I definitely think you should cop this look, what do you think?
I’m sure this trend is going to get old quicker than Benjamin Button gets younger but I shall obsess over it anyway. I’ve been looking for a pink coat since they hit the fashion runways but I couldn’t find anything I liked or within budget. So to my surprise I get this hand-me-down pink coat from my mom, if not fashion than what are moms for? Oh and stole this bag from her too, so thanks mom.
I never want to look too girly because it’s just not me so I paired it with this fabulous pullover I wear with everything lately. I really need to break this obsessive character trait I have going on, right? Or maybe not.

Ever had that ‘I don’t want to get out of bed, it’s cold’ feeling? Yeah well that’s me everyday…I just want to be warm & cosy come winter time. But alas we have to get up and get things done. This is my easy-cosy-get-out-of-bed outfit. I love this warm & fuzzy vintage mohair jersey I picked up online at Lambley. They’re my go-to online thrift store for amazing pieces at low prices you will love! This jersey makes me feel like I’m still in bed and it’s right on the colour trend with this pastel, it works great with a plain white silhouette and a pop of pink clutch. It’s easy, comfortable yet sophisticated.

I’m not going to lie, I definitely have some form of obsessiveness (if that’s even a word). Every new song that comes out that I love I will not stop playing it until I’m completely sick of it. I do the same thing with clothing I will find a way to wear it at every occasion, it will become my ‘uniform’ for lack of a better word. That’s what’s happened with this jersey from Mr. Price, I’ve been wearing it with everything from jeans to tights & shorts.
It’s become quite chilly in Johannesburg over the past week & this jersey keeps me warm & cosy, it’s pretty, feminine & well-priced. It’s seemingly daywear but I wore this outfit for dinner with my parents at the 3 Sixty restaurant side note their desserts are delicious! This outfit is fun & playful but still appropriate for dinner.
